Following the recommendations of the Spanish  Society of Glaucoma concerning certain daily activities, we continue to analyze some conclusions.

.-Musicians who play metallic wind instruments or with high resistance nozzles, while they are playing, can see their eye pressure elevated.

.-Something similar happens in lyrical singers, so it is necessary in certain circumstances exhale large amount of air. It would be convenient to know the technique used by these patients, to know whether or not  Valsalva maneuver occurs.

.-No scientific evidence has been found regarding the use of computers or mobile devices, so it seems that they have no influence. Likewise, visual relaxation exercises are not effective either.

.-Some studies have shown that reading reduces eye pressure, but more studies on this subject are necessary to be able to recommend this habit as beneficial for these patients.

.-Patients with pigmentary dispersion may otherwise occur and increase eye pressure with accommodation and reading. That is why they are insisted on a periodic follow-up with the ophthalmologist to rule out this type of syndrome, among others.

.- About food, although consuming fruits, vegetables and unsaturated fats is widely known to be beneficial for health, there is no scientific justification for changing the diet in a patient with glaucoma.

.- Antioxidant supplementation added to the normal diet, It seems to have a future in this pathology, requiring more investigation in the future.

.- Alcohol does not influence the onset or progression of glaucoma.

.- It has long been known that marijuana reduces eye pressure, although it is not considered as a treatment for it due to the great difficulty to find the effective dose and concentration and because of its great amount of systemic and local effects

.- Regarding the consumption of snuff, as more cigarettes smoked daily and more number of years with this addiction, there is a greater chance of developing glaucoma.

.- Patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma should avoid any treatment that increases the size of the pupil.

.- Upside-down posture is not recommended for sleeping. It is recommended to sleep sideways.

.- Patients with apnea or sleep pauses have a higher incidence of glaucoma, It seems that the repeated episodes of hypoxia and hypercapnia, produces greater oxidative stress and inflammation as well as alterations in blood flow diffusion. After this information, it is recommended to rule out glaucoma in patients with nocturnal apneas.

.- As for hormonal changes, pregnancy does not influence this disease, but caution should be exercised with certain antihypertensive eye medications because they can be harmful to the fetus.

.- Estrogens can be protective in the development of glaucoma according to several studies about it.

.-Blood pressure, lowering of nighttime pressure, have shown the negative progression of glaucoma.

.- Elderly patients with arterial hypertension, can get worse due to the alteration originated in the ocular blood flow.
